Organize prompts with folders

Folders are the simplest way to group related prompts. You can create as many as you want, rename them, and move prompts between them.

Create a folder

  • Desktop: in the left sidebar, find the Folders section and click the + icon. Type a name and confirm.
  • Mobile: tap Folders in the bottom navigation, then tap the + icon.

Folder names are private to your account unless you share the folder with your team.

Move a prompt into a folder

There are three ways:

  1. During creation. Pick a folder in the prompt form's Folder dropdown.
  2. From a prompt's menu. Open the three-dot menu (⋮) on the card, choose Move to folder, pick the destination.
  3. From the folder view. Open a folder, then add prompts to it the same way.

You can move prompts that you do not own (for example, team-shared prompts or pack prompts) into your own folders. Your folder choice is stored separately and only affects your view. Other people keep seeing the original folder. The architecture is described in Pack folders.

Rename or delete a folder

Open the three-dot menu next to a folder name and choose Rename or Delete. Deleting a folder does not delete the prompts inside it. They become uncategorized for your account.

The Favorites folder

Favorites is a virtual folder. It does not move prompts. It just shows every prompt you have marked as a favorite, no matter what folder they actually live in. See Favorites.
