Create your first prompt
Adding prompts is the same flow on desktop and mobile. The form lives behind the + button.
Open the form
- Desktop: click the + button in the header. Or open the Command Palette with
Cmd/Ctrl + Kand type "Create". - Mobile: tap the + button in the bottom navigation.
Fill in the fields
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Title | A short name you will recognize in the list. |
| Content | The actual prompt text. Template variables like {{topic}} are supported. See Template variables. |
| Type | System, Image, Chat, Code, or Meta. Drives the badge color and helps filtering. |
| Best for | Optional. A free-form tag like "ChatGPT", "Claude", "Marketing". |
| Folder | Optional. Drop the prompt into an existing folder. |
| Notes | Optional Markdown notes that show in a collapsible section on the prompt card. |
| Team shared | Off by default. Turn on to share with your domain workspace. See Domain workspaces. |
Click Add Prompt. The prompt appears in your vault immediately.
Copy a prompt into an AI tool
On any prompt card or list row, click Copy. The prompt copies to your clipboard with template variables already filled in if you set them. Paste it directly into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or any other tool.
Edit and delete
The three-dot menu (⋮) on every prompt card has Edit and Delete. You can only edit or delete prompts you created. Team-shared and pack prompts are read-only for everyone except the owner. See Ownership rules.
